Review - TEARS "Empty Soul"

Just 11 minutes long, but still quite impressive is the promo CDR of the Greek band TEARS. They mix influences from Progressive Metal, Melodic Heavy Rock, True Metal and Power Metal into an impressive own sound, which really is sometimes quite strong such as the opener “Emptiness”, a song with a lot of tempo changes and a catchy Melodic Power Metal chorus. “I promise you” is a really great Melodic Progmetal song like EVERGREY meets ADAGIO. The band has a very good singer and I wonder how this band would sound if they would go into a major studio with a major producer, because then it could turn out to something very sensational.
